Hello, I am Keshawn Gadison. I am from Canton, OH. I have one sibling. I went back and forth, living with my father and mother until 6th grade. My favorite place I lived at was in North Carolina. I have always been a busy person. In high school, I worked and went to school to get the things I wanted or needed. After high school, I wanted to attend college but couldn’t afford it. So, I worked and joined the military upon graduation to help me pay for school. Graduating from college was my only goal as a kid (besides being successful). It means so much to me because I will be the only one in my family to have a bachelor’s degree. This will also set the tone for my kids and future generations. I graduated with my associate degree in Business Management Technology in the Fall of 2021.
Currently, I am in my last semester of college. It is a bittersweet moment. This has been a challenging journey, but it’ll be worth it in the long run. I am graduating with my Bachelor’s in Organizational Supervision. Many times I wanted to give up, but I kept going. I’m working on a business plan for a soul food restaurant. I saved money from my previous jobs and am now focusing on school and plans for after graduation. I am in the Ohio Army National Guard. I am in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Since I never had goals, I still think about what I want to do after college. I thought of starting a soul food business or attending graduate school for Law, MBA, mental health, or human resources. I want to be successful and not need for anything. As long as I can do something I like while making a good amount of money, I will be okay. I also want to continue making a difference in people’s lives. I am inspirational and may also make YouTube videos promoting positive things and inspiring others.
