My efforts are what have led me to where I am today. I grew up in a poor education system that did not provide the best educational support for me to succeed. As a result, I struggled to learn throughout middle and high school. However, I did not let this challenging experience determine my success. I began to work hard because I aspired to succeed.

I plan to obtain my associate degree this upcoming May. Afterward, I plan to further my education by transferring to a four-year university that has a psychology program. Also, my academic record has allowed me to join the Psi Beta Honor Society at Lehigh Carbon Community College. I am excited to join this society and continue to succeed as a student.

I aspire to be a clinical counselor because helping people is something I love to do, and I want to make a difference for people who struggle with their mental health. I have seen many people who have struggled with their mental health, such as family and friends, and not everybody can cope with poor mental health without support. For this reason, I want to be a clinical counselor to effectively help people who need mental health support.
