With over 50 options, middle schools choose the specific workshops they want as well as the initial group of students to participate in REAL with more students able to join throughout the year.
We collect data on behavior referrals as well as attendance and graduation rates. We also collect pre-and-post survey data from students to see if they like the workshops and what they learned.
Each workshop is led by two trained college students per classroom on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. To get the best results, we recommend choosing at least 10 workshops per semester.
